Carolers Cheer Us Up

Little JR and I love to hear carolers especially when it is a band playing cheerful and popular Christmas songs particularly when they are those danceable and upbeat Christmas tunes. We would dance to the Christmas songs that they play as they go from house to house in the neighborhood. When we get to hear them even from afar, we would knowing look at each other with a smile on our face. Then we would wait for them as they near the house, we would go to the little kid’s bedroom, jumping up and down while dancing at the same time even sometimes cheerfully singing to the Christmas songs that they play. It is so much fun!

I want the little kid to have fun memories of Christmas and so this is one of the ways that I make it fun. Little JR would get excited when he hears carolers outside. It was more fun the other night when daddy J joined us in this fun dancing and jumping up and down the bed when a band went around the houses on our street.

In my folks house where I grew up, there are more carolers over there and it would have been so much fun but this is already fun for us listening to carolers cheer us up with their songs and music for Christmas.
