Lift Your Spirits
Cloudy days make many people feel depressed. Stand in the sunshine whenever the sun is out to lift your spirits.
Someone told me this and indeed it had been cloudy aside from experiencing rains the past few days this December. A few friends had been saying the weather had affected their mood and productivity the past few days as well. A bed-weather day does make me sleepy while for others it makes them feel gloomy inside and depressed which should not be the case because this is actually supposed to be the merry month of December. The Christmas holiday season is here so we better lift our spirits despite the gloomy weather we experience. When the sun comes out by chance on a gloomy day, go outside and bathe yourself with sunshine. It does have that magical effect on your spirit and approach towards the rest of the day.
I used to remember I enjoy the very early morning sunshine from the break of dawn until the sun is up around six or seven in the morning when I was a kid growing up in my parent’s house in a subdivision where we enjoy more space and privacy then at those early years. Early morning walks bathing in the morning sunshine had been such a nice experience that can give you a boost to face the rest of the day. Believe me indeed it can lift your spirits to start the day right.
