Jessica has been following the show since she was 5 years old since the first season of AI. She want it so bad she was already crying when she went in to see the AI judges and before she found out that she is indeed in the Top 24 of American Idol 11.

She probably had the most support with a lot of her family with her when she received the news from AI judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson.

I wish her the best and may she make us proud. May she make is farther than Thia Megia, who made it to American Idol Season 10′s Top 10.

I pray that we will have more fun, laughter, cheers and happiness to cherish from this day forward making this a better year compared to the past years. We may not have the regular weekend this month but it will still be a great two days for my family. Thank you Lord for these “weekends” for bonding time and we are so looking forward to it! We are cheerfully excited, if there is such a phrase to describe it!

Cheers to the new year 2012! The year of the water dragon.

We watched on TV through CNN’s live coverage as the ball drops at 12mn at the Time Square in New York. Daddy J was watching it first then I while our little JR was in dreamland, we watched Anderson Cooper who did a little acting with the Green Goblin and Spiderman. It has a rather unique twist this year as the clock was ticking down with a few minutes left before the ball dropped down at 12mn. Cooper’s co-host Kathy got inspired by Lady Gaga and I thought should the crowd cheer to that? I don’t know for it probably was chilling if not freezing cold out there!

I cheer for the new year, for renewed life and a year of new hope and of dreams coming true. To year that will be more cheerful, happier, healthier, truly profitable, productive and peaceful, may the LORD GOD bless us all this 2012 and the years to come!!!

Someone told me this and indeed it had been cloudy aside from experiencing rains the past few days this December. A few friends had been saying the weather had affected their mood and productivity the past few days as well. A bed-weather day does make me sleepy while for others it makes them feel gloomy inside and depressed which should not be the case because this is actually supposed to be the merry month of December. The Christmas holiday season is here so we better lift our spirits despite the gloomy weather we experience. When the sun comes out by chance on a gloomy day, go outside and bathe yourself with sunshine. It does have that magical effect on your spirit and approach towards the rest of the day.

I used to remember I enjoy the very early morning sunshine from the break of dawn until the sun is up around six or seven in the morning when I was a kid growing up in my parent’s house in a subdivision where we enjoy more space and privacy then at those early years. Early morning walks bathing in the morning sunshine had been such a nice experience that can give you a boost to face the rest of the day. Believe me indeed it can lift your spirits to start the day right.

I want the little kid to have fun memories of Christmas and so this is one of the ways that I make it fun. Little JR would get excited when he hears carolers outside. It was more fun the other night when daddy J joined us in this fun dancing and jumping up and down the bed when a band went around the houses on our street.

In my folks house where I grew up, there are more carolers over there and it would have been so much fun but this is already fun for us listening to carolers cheer us up with their songs and music for Christmas.

We wished there was more time tonight but you know when you are having fun, time flies indeed. I wish we could meet again, just us mommies with no kids, like a day off of some sort. Though we love to have our kids around, it would give us more time to talk if it would just be us moms even for one meet.

This will have to do for now for this is one of the ones that I like so far and it is one of the safer themes that I found from a reliable source. Will be finding a new one so let us just say this is somewhat just temporary. Been really busy lately and had to take care of some health issues more importantly.

Any suggestions for a more better theme, I am open to suggestions and will cheerfully check them out. Thanks in advance!

Alvin and the Chipmunks movie was first on the list we watched both series 1 and 2 where Charice had an appearance. I was also surprised to just have realized recently that Glee’s Sue Sylvester or Jane Lynch in real life also appeared as Dave’s boss in the first sequel. We saw these two movies yesterday and we watched it again today, including the Alpha and Omega.

Actually now we’re done with these three movies. Now showing is Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.

Well I am not going to let this put me down! I am feeling a little better as these photos of food in a new fave food magazine recommended by my dear sissy, cheers me up and makes me forget I am going down with something right now. I am going through their Christmas holiday issue and there are lots of yummy food for the holiday feast. I wish I am eating some chocolates right now as I browse through this magazine and hoping it will make me feel better.

At least I have stopped sneezing as of now. Took my colds med already. Taking in lots of water. I just wanna be cheered up now and be healthy. Same goes for little JR and daddy J.

I put my trust on the accuracy of the assuring report from CNN. I went off to school to fetch little JR but the school was unusually quiet. Even the big school nearby was quiet already at this hour but I know it is exam week so most kids were already dismissed by noon due to half day classes on final exam week. But little JR’s school was unusually quiet and desserted. Then I met a father fetching his three beautiful daughters. I overheard the bubbly second daughter telling his dad that the teacher panicked because of the tsunami.

Then I realized that the kids who were still not fetched were not allowed to go out of the classroom to play in the open field. The guard also told me a few minutes of waiting that I was supposed to fetch my child at the classroom. So it seems they were taking precautions.

But best to remember in times like this not to panic.
